FINALIST AND AWARDED PROJECT OF ‘’ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE’’ DESIGN COMPETITION

First, the current building is demolished and the structure is kept, and the proposed plan is implemented on the structure.
The proposed plan includes closed, open and semi-open spaces.
Closed space for the entry and exit of people for better control.
The open space was used for the passage of vehicles and monuments.
The semi-open space is where people wait.
The design of Hadakar is compatible with the environment without the need to destroy the side walls.
Basics of design:
The entrance and exit of the vehicles were unified in the eastern part of the volume for better operation and the western gate was used to make the element.
The plan is designed in different levels in order to separate spaces and better performance.

How to deal with the competition issue:
We didn’t have a place to sit or wait at the entrance

Materials used:
Yazd pressed concrete (6.210.121) + Concrete

Technical Drawings

The work is done in a simple and knotted manner. These materials are used for the simplicity and diversity of the facade.
lighting :
Fakhr al-Madin stone has been used for open and semi-open spaces in the waiting areas as well as in the central core of the volume in order to receive more light during the day, and strip lighting has been used in some parts of the volume at night.
